the food, the flying and fun. Bring the family along. Burgers,
wieners and drinks will be provided. If the weather is
inclement the roof will be on the tent. If you haven't paid
your 2012 membership dues this would be an excellent opportunity
for you to do an exchange for a membership card. Come one,

High Country Fly In - High Country Flyers(click) August ?? & ?? , 2012 All-club Invitational - August 19, 2012 (Sunday). 2011 was PERFECT. Weather was fantastic. Perfect light breeze, mostly clear sky flying and temps in the 20's!!!! Thanks to all that attended! We enjoyed the company and activity!! Come on out and fly and enjoy meeting people in the hobby from all over the Interior. Some very interesting aircraft. Bring some extra chairs. Camping should be available in the area. Sorry not at the field! Email us with questions. Kamloops, Vernon, Grindrod, Kelowna, Penticton, Germany, France, Australia, New Zealand invited. FIXED WING only please and no 3D flying during normal event time. Thank you! Yes!....You are invited to Shuswap Lake Aero Modelers Invitational Fly-in at our field at Blind Bay on August 19th. We will start around 10:00 am and we will provide lunch consisting of Hamburgers, Hot Dogs and Soft Drinks at 12:00 noon. Please bring chairs, and an airplane or two of course. 2012 SLAM Fall Classic Float Fly - week after Canadian Labour Day Sept 4th - 9th, 2012 at Sandy Point. Put on by Shuswap Lake Aero Modelers.

Fall Float Fly 2011 Was A Huge Success - 95 registrations and fun was had by all! Perfect weather every day! This is the largest Float-Fly in western Canada. It takes place at Sandy Point Resort, 5km west of Salmon Arm, BC. Registration will begin Tuesday Sept. 6. We will provide a retrieval boat and a frequency board from at least that time on for early arrivals. In addition to great flying, corn roast, raffles and other entertainment. Splash-down fee is $15.00. Contact:
